Okay, thanks for the quick reply. I deleted the post that you quoted before I saw your reply because I realized the answer myself after seeing 3d images elsewhere.

Walt Disney World in 3-D Official Site

Looks like so far they are still testing and trying things out. Part of Italy and the Swan and Dolphin Hotels look to be the two only things in 3-D so far on Google Earth. The Swan and Dolphin looks impressive though...

It must have been a short test. There is nothinng but a coming soon message there now.

Sorry if my post seemed a little vague. The two 3-D buildings are already on Google Earth with the new version. The official site as far as I know hasn't changed from that coming soon message yet.

If you're referring to the 3D swan and dolphin as well as the 3D Cinderella Castle, those have been there for a while.

Ok, so Swan & Dolphin was there before today and then the Italy part seems to be a user created design and not a model by Google or Disney. I never had Google Earth before today, so I had no idea the S&D was there before today and still trying to figure the settings out.

Only thing I can think of is checking if you have 3D Building's on or not.

I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping to find it up and running today. Sounds like a clear case of marketing over-selling the software before it's ready. Or, maybe they decided to save it for tomorrow so they can say they're replacing VMK, with VWDW (Virtual Walt Disney World).

I checked it out this morning. It's cool, but uses a LOT of resources. I checked and Google Earth was using up 1.3G of memory to run this. Navigation can be a little choppy. Has anyone ever tried using a joystick for this?

I spent a little time playing with it this morning, and it's quite cool! However, as pointed out, it is very demanding on your computer. I've got a Dual Processor with 2g of memory, and it was still choppy and slow at times.

I can't get it to work at all... I have the latest version, I've got the "golden mickey ears" and I'm clicking on the "see WDW in 3D" icon... but then nothing happens. Anyone else? Our computer is a dinosaur, and it's running very hard when I've got Google open... maybe it just can't handle it?

I was just checking it out and it looks pretty awesome, for that matter all of Google Earth looks awesome with the many new additions. I was only on for a few minutes and it was working with very little lag. Hopefully my home internet problems are resolved so I can tinker with this later tonight.

I haven't used GE very frequently until they launched the Disney Parks in 3D, but I am also seeing large memory usage in using the app. Perhaps Google optimized this for Macs.

I don't really have anything to add but I would point out that it was choppy on my system with 3Gb RAM and a Core2 Quad processor. I'll have to see how it compares at home when I get it on a better Internet connection.
