    Default Pirates Cartoon

Has anyone seen the cartoonish rendering of Pirates of the Caribbean characters? It's everywhere on t-shirts, etc. in the Disney store and there are even new action figures I've seen with the more cartoon-like version of Jack and company. Does anyone know if Disney is planning more to come from this line such as a cartoon series?

I had heard that Disney wanted Pirates to be a cartoon series... Then they decided to make it into a movie... Great choice... And a far better one...
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...

TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

It was actually a short comic series featured in the Disney Adventures magazine for children after the movies premired. I agree, it's a better choice to be live action.

    Angry No!

I think they should keep Pirates where its at. Nothing more or, "Quoth the raven, nevermore". Sometimes, big ideas on the drawing boards turn out to be big "money-suckers". Pirates SHOULD NOT become a cartoon...hands down!
