    Default Disneyland Photos Thread

(MODS - not sure if I put this thread in the right place. If not, please move it for me. Thanks.)

Here's a place to post pictures you've taken at Disneyland (the parks, the hotels, downtown disney, etc.) Feel free to post pictures of scenery at DLR or of yourself and/or family and friends enjoying the parks.

Here's a photo of one of my favorite spots at Disneyland. It's the staircase over in New Orleans Square. This was taken last November while it was decorated for Christmas.

And here is the sunwheel (AKA deathwheel) at night...

I LOVE that staircase! I've never seen it decorated for Christmas so thanks for sharing the pic. And that cactus picture, i have a funny story about it. My boyfriend swore it was mickey shaped and i told him he was crazy. Every time he saw it, he would point and i would shake my head telling him he tried to make EVERYTHING a hidden mickey. LOL i guess he was right after all!

Aw, you two are such a cute couple! Thanks for sharing. I haven't ventured out to Disneyland yet. I'm stuck on WDW.

You must go. It's such a different experience. Disneyland has so much detail that just didn't make it to the Magic Kingdom.
Most people who've grown up at WDW insist that nothing in Anaheim compares to it but I've hit them both up within a pretty short amount of time. Disneyland just has a closer, more intimate feel about it. That does translate to being more crowded from time to time but the detail is truly fantastic.
Some argue that it's crammed into Anaheim and you don't have the secluded feel of WDW but I think the exact opposite. There are areas of the Magic Kingdom that allow to see outside of the park which reveals an openness that almost feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. You don't get that feeling at Disneyland since the experience is so immersive. You really can't see out of the park unless you're on the train or the Monorail. The outside world is hidden very well. It's my favorite park even after visiting the theme park of theme parks.
