With all the buses and traffic in Disney World, there really isn't anyplace else on property you could bike. There might be some areas outside of Disney World where you could take and use your bikes.

I don't know how you'd get you and your bike there, but you could bike around Port Orleans. There's also a path at the GF (starts across the street from convention center) and one at Old Key West too.

from FW port isn't very far once you come out the front gate area turn right at light turn right depending on which port it's on left only a very short ways or on left a little farther to the other one but there is alot of loops and roadway you could ride in the camp so don't know if you would want to go outside if you rode all the roads in Fw you could probably ride for a few hrs

thanks for all the input. We'll definitely stay off the roads (outside the fort) with our kids. Too bad they don't have more trails between the various guest areas: I'd love to be able to bike over to, and around, the 7 seas lagoon, for example.
We're going in August, so we may be content biking between FW and WL; at least we're guaranteed AC and fresh water at each end!
