How about a poll on the best shops, seperately instead of by park?

I would do it but I haven't done a poll before and more importantly I wouldn't be able to name all the main shops.

If I have time I will try to look them up on Intercot and in my books. If someone else knows them and can do it quicker, go right ahead.

A poll is limited to (about) 10 options. We'd either really have to pick and choose which 10 shops would go into the poll or run multiple polls. The shops on Main Street alone are nearly enough to fill one poll.

If a number of polls interests everyone, I could set that up, but I'd like to gauge the interest first.

I don't think that many polls would be necessary. That would be overkill.

I was just thinking of the main shops like Mouse Gears or DTD.

Maybe just one shop from each park and/or resort.

I guess with any poll you are going to leave out something. Perhaps its better just to stick with this thread.

    Thanks though.

    Default Best Shops

This would almost be a three way tie for me because Epcot has those wonderful world showcase shops....Magic Kingdom has the Christmas store and all the cool shops on Main St., but I voted for Hollywood Studios mostly because of that really neat Tinkerbell store where I bought a really cool oversized purse for myself last trip....I do most of my souvenier shopping for other people at DTD, however

My room is decorated to look like France, so of course I love shopping at Epcot to pick up another Eiffel Tower! And I love eating there and just being there. It smells so good!

Personally, I enjoy shopping in Epcot- the World Showcase. It has a lot of items to buy from different countries, and it's a good selection.

Other than Epcot, I like shopping in Downtown Disney.

Got to be Epcot. We find Mousegear to be one of the easiest to find what you are looking for (much easier than the Emporium) and the shops in the various country just provide things you can't find elsewhere.

Funny, I don't love DHS as a park (in fact, I'm not sure I even like it as a park anymore) but I do agree with you, it has the best shops!

I love all of the shops in all of the theme parks so I had to vote for DHS only because I was able to get my DH some Christmas gifts since he is a Star Wars fan. I was able to get him a couple of t-shirts and have them shipped so he had no clue. That was great!

I like the MK shops. EPCOT has a lot of different shops and they are really nice but, for exclusively Disney stuff, MK is my fave.

Thumbs up Shop til you drop

I was going to vote for Disney Studios... but...

I must say that Epcot really has the best shops!

MouseGear is fantastic, and the collection of merchandise there is hard to beat.

But what makes the park a shopping paradise for me is all the fun giftshops around WS!

Not only do they have the coolest stuff from around the world, the different themes of the lands are carried out in a perfect way through out the shops too!

Well, which is why Epcot would have been a good vote for you. Because of the World Showcase, it gives the most variety of merchandise. It's the only place on WDW you can by KH merchandise, kimonos, tea sets, German steins, Norse helms and jacket, teas, English Lavender soaps, Harry Potter Merch, etc.

That's why it got my vote. It offers the most to choose from and I can just walk through Epcot for the shops alone, especially Japan.

It's EPCOT for me! I love seeing all the stuff that's available in every shop in the park. I haven't been there since The Seas opened, so I'm hoping that there is some good Nemo stuff available. I love my Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage shirt from Disneyland, and can't wait to see what's available there when we go in May!

I voted for DHS. The main strip of stores is really fun.

BUT, then I realized after reading some posts that Epcot has much better stores. Duh! The World Showcase.
