    Default Do Park Passes Expire

I know in WDW the passes have a no expiration option. Do DL passes expire or good forever?

Disneyland passes generally have both a first use date (the first use of a ticket must take place by a particular date) and then are valid for 13 days after first use, or by a particular date- whichever is first.

For example, with some of the bonus park-hoppers sold now they'll state that first use must take place between 1/7/08-4/24/08 and they expire 13 days after first use, or 5/7/08 (which just happens to be 13 days from 4/24)

The only way to extend a pass is if you have an unused pass, or a used pass with days remaining on the pass, you can apply the amount you paid on the ticket towards the purchase of a higher priced pass as long as it's also done before the expiration terms on the pass.

For example, if you wanted to then get an annual pass, visit guest relations and they will then apply the full amount of what you paid (including any discounts applied) towards the price of the upgraded pass and then the pass is made valid from the original date of first use.
