Since all the quests seem to be giving TD magic as a prize, I was wondering what you have won or seen people win.

what do you guys think are the best/worst rooms to use treasure detector in?

As far as I know, if you do land on a prize place, it is completely random. There have seem to be better rooms of getting a prize in general than just washing out and getting nothing.

Fantasy in the Sky when it first started was a great place. Now it seems like its empty.

I'm trying places that are small (not castle gardens, too easy to walk out) where you can cover the whole area. Lost Safari Party, elephant pool, castle forecourt, mansion rooms been good. I notice a lot of wins in esplanade also.

Think of places people don't normally visit instead of the NPC places or lobbies and such.

A friend told me the other day a host did the magic in her room, she walked back and forth over the same 3 or 4 spaces several times and then found something. That makes me think it may not be the location, but a random chance built into the pin.
I've been pretty lucky this time too, probably 60% or more of the pins I've used have found treasure, some of each item. I've just been doing the magic in whatever room the quest finishes in (as long as there's not a queue waiting to get in) I just walk randomly around, no certain pattern.

Now that you mention it, I saw Phinny walking back and forth across the same area of her platform...interesting. I wonder if it is a random timing or number of times changing direction?

I won buried in treasure my first try. I was told to go to the gallery to use my magic. It was successful. Where can you get more treasure detector magic? I got mine in the quest but can you buy it? I'm assuming so.

The only way that you can get treasure detector is through the quests at this time.
