Dec. 11, 1976 – The Disney TV special “Lt. Robinson Crusoe U.S.N.” aired.
Dec. 11, 1982 – The Walt Disney TV series aired “Winnie the Pooh and Friends.”
Dec. 11, 1988 – The Magical World of Disney aired “Disneyland’s All-Star Comedy Circus” on NBC.
Dec. 11, 1992 – The Disney film “The Muppett Christmas Carol” was released.
Dec. 11, 1995 – The Disneyland Pacific Hotel (formerly the Pan Pacific Hotel) opened in Anaheim. (In December 2000 it would be renamed the Paradise Pier Hotel.)
Dec. 11, 1998 – The Disney film “Rushmore” had its premiere in Los Angeles and New York. (General release was Feb. 12, 1999)
Dec. 11, 2003 – The Home Depot Football Awards (broadcast on ESPN) took place at the Dance Hall at WDW’S Boardwalk.
Dec. 11, 2003 – “Santa’s Pin List,” a holiday event, began at WDW theme parks and selected resorts.
Dec. 11, 2004 – Mickey’s Magical Gathering, a brief show featuring Disney characters and area performers appeared for a free holiday gathering at Dallas’ City Hall.
Dec. 11, 2004 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “Naughty or Nice.”
