Disney Package Offer for 1/1-3/15/08

Too bad this wasn't two weeks later. I guess the timing cutoff may have to do with FL's Spring Breaks. We go on 3/29. I'll be keeping my eye out for MJ to tell me what those discounts are.

We are going to Disney from January 3 through January 9. I already booked the package, which includes dining, using my Disney Visa to make the $200 downpayment for the trip. I am a little confused about this discount. First, can I still get the special offer even though I already booked? And second, I thought the special offer only included the free ticket upgrades. Does it, in fact, include an additional discount on the cost of the room? Or, is the room discount only available for room only reservations?

Any light you all can shed on this will be appreciated!

You can have the discount applied to your existing package as long there is availability with the discount for your dates/resort.

The special includes the free ticket options plus a room discount.

If the offer is available for your dates and resort, you would have to apply a new $200 deposit using your Disney visa.

I'm going Feb 2- Feb 8 and did the same thing put the pkg on my amex. I called and the cm said they would re-process my pkg with my Disney visa and honer the special price.

Does anybody know if these discounts apply to President's Week (February 16-24)? We are travelling then, and I am wondering if President's Week dates are blacked out for any discounts.

Fun option includes admission the the water parks, DisneyQuest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports.

The hopping option is $45 plus tax per ticket.

Free dining has never been offered for this time period.

There is a room discount with this package.

Does that mean this upgrade allows you to enter any Pleasure Island club/bar free of charge (aka no cover charge)?

We have not seen AP rates yet, but historically there have been AP rates.

this is what i personally would wait for as i have an AP & have no need of passes.
that is if i go during this time period. if not i will await May probly.

Thanks to MJ for posting the discounts!!! I called this morning as soon as I saw the news. A note to folks who are booking, when I called to book Pop, I had to give up my preferred rooms (I already had the package booked). They were only offering the package for standard rooms. I don't know if that applies to all resorts, but thought you might find it useful.

We'll be there 1/30 to 2/6 and I know the package is offered BUT I'm kinda attached to the resort we chose (for location, theme etc) ...

I called this morning bc I also had already had reservations for Wilderness Lodge and I was able to upgrade my room and ended up paying 70 dollars less. I did have to delete my 1st reservation and they charged my card 200 dollars and then used the money from my last reservation to this one. We are going 2-7 to 2-13. I may call back and see if I can get my old room, add dining and see how much that would be. Have fun and good luck.

Also, where should I go to find all of the details of this offer - the Disney Visa Website?

I always book through Magical Journeys (Jean), but I don't want to bother her to do this since I'm not booking now- just trying to do some research for our plans for winter of 08-09. So I'm wondering if there is a way to go on Disney's website and put in the code to see what your rates would be at different resorts with this deal? I know how to use their site, but I haven't seen a box for special codes.
