Why so crowded yesterday????

Hi all,
My wife and DS are at the DLR. She called last night to say to the CA is at managable levels but the MK was slamed. 60 minute wait for Splash and some ride FP kiosks were sold out by mid afternoon. A CM at Space M. told her that there are only 8000 Fast passes to be given out daily for each ride. Can anybody think of why it would be so crowded on a Tuesday in October? Did Colobus day turn into a 4 day weekend, SAT, SUN, Mon, and Tuesday?

I don't know if this is it, but this weekend was Thanksgiving in Canada. Perhaps some Canadians made it an extra long long-weekend.

Gays Days were last weekend too. It could be spillover from that as well as spillover from Columbus Day.

I live in Arizona, some of the schools are on fall intersession right now. That means we have the first 2 weeks of Oct off. I know a lot of people here go to DL during the break. I'll be there with DD on Friday
