I think that Park Vue is closer to the main entrances, but just slightly. It is across the street from DLR, Candy Cane is next to the Resort.

Having stayed at neither I can only comment that CCI always seems to have glowing recommendations.

I have stayed at both and I would say hands down Cany Cane!! Candy Cane is a little further but not by much. It is on the same side of the street so you may make up the time by not having to cross the busy street. Without a doubt, Candy Cane.

I never get tired of recommending the Candy Cane Inn motel. it is the one motel on Harbor that we stay in if we aren't staying on property.
It has always been very clean, and the staff has been very friendly and helpful. The landscaping is also very well kept, which is a nice touch.
It is indeed a slightly longer walk then the Park Vue (we did stay there once...), but the quality of the motel more than makes up for it (in my opinion)..
