November? Please help me.

My sons b-day is Nov. 18th and we would like to take him to Disneyland. The problem is that its between Vetrens Day and Thanksgiving. My son will be turning 2 and I would not like to hit a heavy crowd. If we went the 15th thru the 20th would we be O.K.? Or does anyone know when the crowds get heavy for Thanksgiving?

The week prior to Thanksgiving should be pretty safe. Unfortunately there's no Magic 8 Ball when it comes to predicting the crowds ... and remember most ever weekend is busy at Disneyland, but Monday-Thursday are usually lots less crowded, but there are no fireworks and parades might be scarce ... be sure and check the Disneyland Forum for the INTERCOT Park Hours Guide, Entertainment Calendar, Refurb Calendar, and especially our new Disneyland Month-by-Month guide.

I was there last November the week before Thanksgiving and it was not too bad for crowds except on the weekends. During the week it was not crowded at all but starting on about the Thursday before the weekend of Thanksgiving it was crazy busy. I think you should be fine if you are going before, so you will at least have a few days of no crowds.
