Around which date do the New Years crowds drop off?

Hello, we are considering a January 4th trip but want to avoid crowds. Is it still very crowded at this time? Thanks for info.

I would think that's a great time. The season block out dates for FL residents is lifted the 1st Friday of January. The block out dates usually coincide with heavy crowds. Have fun!

It varies from year to year based primarily on school calendars. This coming year, many schools will be out th entire first week of January so I suspect the crowds may remain high through about the 6th.

We are hoping for low crowds as well since we will be there from the 5-12. Our first day in the parks wont be until the 6th so hopefully we will be ok.
