Counter-service credits for drinks

In my planning for my upcoming trip in December I think that I am going to have a whole slew of counter-service credits left over, and probably not all that much of an appetite for them. I was wondering if it was possible to get three or four beverages (like bottles of water) at a counter service location and use a credit to pay for it. I'm sure that we will want the extra liquid, but I don't think we will want all that extra food.

Has anyone done this, or know what the policy is for this type of exchange?

There is no standard policy for such.

Toward the end of your trip, check with your Disney resort Guest Services and they will likely be able to make some sort of accommodation for you regarding unused credits.

More than likely, the best they will offer will be a one-to-one trade down from Counter Service to Snack Credits.
