The Ink that Characters Stamp with...permanent?

Does anyone know if the Ink that characters stamp with is washable? I am making a quilt of characters signatures this year when I visit WDW for Christmas. I am using black sharpie for all who sign but I would like to get as many signatures as possible so I can make a large quilt. I know the sharpie is washable and permanent however I wanted to know if anyone has had experience with the ink some use to stamp like Buzz.

Two years ago, I had a giant picture frame signed. Everyone who signed it used a Blue Sharpie. When I took it up to Buzz, I handed him the Sharpie and he took it. He did't use the stamp.

I am not sure if he is the only one who stamps or not but you could try it. You could also tell one of the Cast Members, I am sure that they will help him use your marker.
