That was my DW's input. I've never cared Prince. He is an awesome guitar player but I can't stand his version of singing. Sorry.

Pogo and Natazu's Ode to Possum

(Sung to the tune of Little Red Corvette)

Little round possum, oh, hoo, hoo,
    Baby, you taste too good!

Little round possum, oh, hoo, hoo,
You need to find a road where you're gonna last

    (Sorry had to do it!)

If Pogo can list a top five.. then I'll just follow his lead...

Born in the U.S.A. - Bruce Springsteen
Hungry Like a Wolf - Duran Duran
Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
    Centerfold - J. Geils Band
I Love Rock n Roll - Joan Jett & the Blackhearts

That really is hard.. there were so many good songs back then...

This is really hard as I loved the 80's hair bands. But the first one that came to mind is Poison's: Every Rose Has It's Thorn.

There are many classics from the 1980's.
My top pick is Crazy Train, by Ozzy.

My one most favorite 80s song is "Something About You" by Level 42. I can never get enough of that song!

I loved Bonnie Tyler, Holding Out For a Hero and Total Eclipse of the Heart.

But my favorite groups were Chicago and Air Supply (Making Love out of Nothing at All)
