Back from the Emerald Coast

Well I’m back from a week at the Sandestin Resort, Destin FL AKA the Emerald Coast. The Gulf Coast has some of the best beaches! The sand is so white and fine. The water was a mix of emerald and deep blue. If you guys ever get a chance to hit the Gulf Coast take advantage of it. It was no Disney Vacation but it was nice.

We where driving down HWY 98 in Destin my DW…with her 6th sense for shopping malls…was begging me to stop at this Outlet Mall. I said sure maybe on the way out of town! Then she said “ok smarty I guess you’ll miss out on the The Disney Outlet that I just saw”. I then made a u-turn which are legal in FL parked the car. I said take your time and come get me when your done. It was just like being in a WDW gift shop. Park items at 50% off or more. I got an AK sweat Shirt for $13 that was reg $54, a t-shirt for $6 reg for $25, and a nice WDW jacket for $15 reg $65. Plus I got doubled points on my Disney Visa! It was nice to have a little bit of the magic while there. At half the price!

As someone who grew up in the Destin area, I am glad you had a good visit. That is a cool little Disney store, and we go there when we are in town.
