    Question sail away party

Hi Going on 1st cruise in Sept. Read on some other posts that it is so crowded during sail away and pirate party that it was hard to see everything and enjoy it. Could anyone tell me if there is a good place to locate ourselves at during these 2 events? Thanks!!!

Most people go right for deck 9 and stay in the area of the Goofy pool. It's much less crowded up on deck 10. You'll be looking down onto the party, but there are stairs right there if anyone wants to go down and dance. We've had a table right next to the Goofy pool stage, we've gone up on deck 10 and we've gone to the front of the ship, away from party to enjoy passing out through the port.

We headed up to Deck 10 around halfway through the SailAway party, and were not only able to see everything happening down on Deck 9, but when the ship pulled away from the dock, we were able to walk right over to the railings and watch the cast members wave goodbye! And then we headed over to the other side of the ship and watched the dolphins accompany us out to sea. It was a great moment!

We also chose to watch the festivities from deck 10. The big screens helped with visibility. Then when we pulled away from the dock we were able to walk straight to the front of the ship and enjoy that view as we left port. It was awesome! We felt less crowded "looking down" on the main crowd.
