I know it seems that way, but since 1999, we've seen:

    Test Track (1999)
    JIYI (1999)
    JII w/ Figment (2002)
    M:S (2003)
    Soarin (2005)
    The Seas w/ Nemo (2007)
    El Rio refurbishment (2007)
    SSE Renovation (Starts Monday)

    Is that slow?
Good points...but let's look at them more closely:

Test Track, REPLACED World of Motion.
JIYI and JII w/Figment REPLACED JII
    M:S REPLACED Horizons
The Seas w/Nemo REPLACED The Living Seas
Gran Fiesta REPLACED El Rio Del Tiempo

The only PLUS is Soarin' (and yes, I know that Soarin' technically replaced Kitchen Kabaret and Food Rocks, but I'm not counting that). Everything else was taking one ride away to add another. AND in that time, they've taken away Wonders of Life, which had two good attractions (Body Wars and Cranium Command...dated, sure, but still popular).

I love Epcot...I do...but only MK can get away with constantly refurbishing and replacing....it's a nostalgic park. But Epcot needs to do more to get other people excited.

This queue stuff is neat, and I am all for it....but there isn't a single person here who would rather wait in line than ride something else...and if they added more stuff, there wouldn't be a two hour wait, so there wouldn't be a need for these games.

Just my opinion. Fun discussion though!

    Schultzy means crazy family!

Last Trip: November 2015 At POP

Next Trip: May 2017 at POP...again. Unless the FP+ thing isn't worked out. Then we'll go to Dollywood. Or just stay home and look at pictures.

Regardless of the need for new attractions, I think the plusing of the queu in Soarin' is a good thing. It sounds like it is a new technological step that could be seen in other areas of the park.

Anyone remember Brazil at the Millennium World Showplace? I think they had a riverboat race that was similar.
