Disney Villians Cake Challenge

Ok, I am TOTALLY OBSESSED with Food Network's Cake Challenges. As a beginner cake decorator, these shows facinate me. Anyway, tonight (June 10, 2007) they are featuring cakes based on Disney Villians. This was taped at MGM. My question is, did anyone see this being filmed and if so, was there a place you could buy tickets and how did you find out about it if you did see it? I know....ALOT of questions. I was wondering as they have already had cake challenges in Universal as well and want to catch the next one at if possible.

the Captain Hook cake is awesome!! I like the Cruella de Ville cake too!!

I did not know about this challenge until I saw the promo on Food Network.

That's what I was thinking too. 7 hours is a long time to be sitting there for anyone that doesn't know cake techniques. They had a challenge that featured characters from Universal studios. They had Oliveoil from Popeye and Scooby Doo on another. They filmed that right at Universal as well.

I thought by far the Hook cake was the best. It looked awesome!!

I watched it too and I agree that they were wrong to berate him over the jokes. His cake was awesome but I really liked the Dalmatian cake as well. I felt bad for the woman doing Jafar, hopefully she has learned from this experience and will come back for another challenge ready to kick butt. I love these shows

I watched this show on tivo last night! I love the Challenge show! The Captain Hook cake was REALLY good but for some reason I was pulling for the 101 Dalmations. I’m glad he got second place though.

The ladies that did the Ursula cake did a really good job too!! I know I couldn’t sculpt that out of cake and fondant! She has talent!

Ah, that would be Bronwen Weber. She is absolutely incredible!! I've seen alot of challenges where she competed and won first.

PS- I was pulling for the Hook cake that did win. I predicted first second and third before it came up.
