    Default Favorite "closing" show

Okay what is your favorite "closing" show?

The last time we were in WDW we went to MNSSHP and were in Fantasyland right when Wishes started. We turned a bench around to face the castle (there was litteraly no one around us and we did put it back in it's rightful place before leaving) and in all of my (and my parents) trips to WDW never did I see such a wonderful show. I swear we didn't know where to look because the fireworks were going off all around us it was amazing.

I do enjoy them all but after that night Wishes took the cake!!!

What is your favorite "closing" show and why?

Wishes, all the way. I've seen all the Disney night shows (including DLR) and Wishes is my top pick.

I will say that Fantasmic is better at DLR than at MGM though.

Had to vote Wishes! The fireworks over the castle is just classic Disney!

It doesn't always "close" the park but my favorite nighttime show is not listed... SpectroMagic parade.

    Default Fav Closing show

Wishes and Illuminations are both very inspirational shows, so I really struggled with this one. However, Fantasmic is a great show that includes all the Disney Characters and so I vote for Fantasmic...don't forget if you eat at Brown Derby before show, you don't have to fight the crowd for a seat at the show, one is saved for you!

For me it's Fantasmic all the way! I love the lights on the floats and the water pictures. My favorite part is there is a place to sit.

I voted for WIshes because the fireworks around the castle are what people always think of when they think of Disney firework shows...but Fantasmic was a close second!

I love Wishes. The first time I saw it I was in the castle eating dinner and got to experience it out the windows - it was neat.

Fantasmic got my first vote. I don't like the current Illuminations, as much as the older one, so it got second place for me. Finally Wishes, but I would never go to WDW without making sure I saw all of them.

Wishes is solid but not a must-see for my family. IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and Fantasmic! are breathtaking productions.

I always flip back and forth about which I like most, but I think Fantasmic! is my favorite.

    Smile Wishes for me

While Fantasmic is fun & entertaining, and Illuminations is awesome & inspiring, Wishes is the only one of the three that turns me into a blubbering fool every time I see it. Definately a 3 tissue show.

Fantasmic is a great show. The July 4th fireworks at MK was probably the best display I've ever seen though.
