    Default Universal ?

Has anyone went from WDW to Universal from the resorts? We are staying at WL and are trying to find the most economical way to go to and from. Qiuckest is more important than cheapest. Thanks.

Mears would be cheapest (I think) & the
quickest would be either a cab or a towncar service (intercot has a few that are sponsors).

Why don't you just rent a car for the day? That way you can come and go on your own schedule. Most of the rental agencies have offices on-site or on Hotel Blvd in Downtown Disney.

    We are taking a taxi.

If you go to Mears' website, they have a calculator that estimates what your fare would be and it is a pretty decent deal. Well, in comparison to renting a towncar.

Renting a car for the day might be cheaper...but that depends.

All I can say is just get prices on your options and compare.

The very cheapest way is probably to take the Lynx bus (golynx.com).

Beyond that, it will depend on the number of people in your party. If there are just 1 or 2, the Mears shuttle is probably the next least expensive, but if there are more (3-5 or so), then a taxi picked up from Downtown Disney is probably less expensive since it isn't per person.

Here's information on Transportation Beyond WDW that may help.
