Point price increase?

My family and I plan to join the DVC at SSR sometime this summer. Did I hear correctly? Are the prices going up four dollars/point in June?
If so, when in June? When would be the latest I should get the ball rolling on this as to not be affected by the increase? Any help is appreciated.

The current cost per point for SSR is $101.00. Effective June 5, 2007 the price per point will increase to $104.00.

I think they are currently running a special for $20 off per/pt. Also, consider looking at the resale market. We just bought from there in the mid $80s/pt.

woah...woah...where'd this come from?

We purchased during the "15th anniversary" special in November...that was 15 dollars off a point IF you had a "referring member"

So it worked out to 86 dollars a point (101-15 = 86 dollars a point)

That special ended in January or February....

Is that what you are talking about?

Because currently...the best you can do is 91 a point at Saratoga through June 5th....

That $5.00 a point difference may not be alot to some...but it could be upwards of a thousand dollars in initial purchase price....

Sorry about that. Major typo - I meant $10 off per/pt. I was told by DVC reps via a phone conversation 3 wks ago that SSR was going for $104 less $10/pt which brings it to $94 pt through Disney. You can still get things in the mid to low $80s through resale.
