Biopsy is Thursday afternoon

Thanks for all your prayers, pms and good thoughts (and pixie dust ) My thyroid biopsy is Thursday afternoon. I am so busy with kid's stuff and so many things I haven't had much time to think about it, which is a blessing, but then again it has also been the longest three weeks I can remember LOL. I can't wait to get this over with so I can plan a nice long trip to Florida!

I am back from dr. and had the best news of my life today, I am thrilled and so relieved right now!! After a good long wait in the exam room the dr. finally came in and he is trying to joke around and then starts looking at my scan photos. He says wait a minute, I have to go check something. Dh is out in the waiting room with the three kids and then dr. finally comes in and says he needs to look at my neck region through u/s. Okay, I'm getting so nervewracked, he is looking over and over then says he needs to look at my lymph nodes. I am getting scared to death. He isn't saying a thing. I am asking him all these questions. Then he says stop talking. Finally he sits me up and goes "well, not only do I not need to biopsy the nodule, it has shrunk" What???????????? It is 1.6 cm now so has gone down a good bit!! Also it was right under the carotid artery, so even he just wants to watch it and have me come back in 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for your prayers. I have been so nervewracked and I truly believe God did this for me. I was in no way prepared that it would shrink, all I have been thinking about is more surgery, radiation, how am I going to schedule all of this. Keep praying that it will just shrink some more, he thinks it has been there for awhile and I just want it gone!! You all have helped me so much, I can't thank you enough
