Several rumors to this effect have been flying about, but rumors on one site generally feed rumors on another site. There is no announcement about SW joining the "participating" DME program, nor even public discussions (you never know what's going on behind closed doors) about even starting a pilot program. When you check out on the day of your departure, just store your luggage at the luggage area of your resort. You then pick it up when you DME bus arrives. With DME picking you up 3 hours before departure you'll have plenty of time to check your luggage and get through security at the airport.
