After years of smoking, Walt Disney was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1966. His illness and its connection to cigarette smoking prompted the Imagineers to remove Rod Sterling's signiture cigarette from the pre-show video in the Tower of Terror.

Smoking cost us Walt Disney

I wish it were that easy to get rid of smoking everywhere. One thing I really dislike recently is the show America's Next Top Model. Here you have Tyra Banks lecturing the models to take good care of themselves and then during almost every shot of the girls at their house at least one or more are shown smoking. What a hypocritical approach. And what kind of message does that send to young people today?
