    Question Another Stroller Question

We will be flying on Delta in Oct. We will e taking my daughter's (who will be 10 months old) stroller. After we take her out of it just before we board the plane at JFK where in MCO will we be able to pick it up? Does it come in on the conveyor or thru a seperate entrance? The rest of our luggage will be picked up by the magical express.

You'll "gate check" your stroller which means you will leave it literally at the door of the plane. It will then be stored under the plane for your trip.

When you land, your stroller will be brought up and you'll be able to pick it up just as you exit the door to the plane.

This is the best way to do it! You might have to wait a couple of minutes in the jetway right by the plane's door for the stroller to be brought out of the belly of the plane for you.

When we travelled with a stroller this what we did everytime. It makes life that much easier walking throught the airport.

I Brian and Faline. Gate check the stroller - take it all the way through security and right to the airplane's door. Check at the gate as to what you are do to with it at the time of boarding. When the flight lands, you'll pick it up right where you left it - at the doorway to the plane. That way, you'll have it all the way throughout the airport and it's much easier dealing with both the kid and the luggage if the baby is in her stroller. Have a great trip!

We always gate check our stroller (have done big ones and umbrellas--both the same way) When you go through Security you will have to take your dtr out of the stroller and put it through xray. Once you get to the gate, ask the agent for a gate check ticket (PLEASE do this before boarding starts--pet peeve is people who don't and then hold up the whole line of folks trying to board while they fill out the check tag!!) You will take the stroller all the way into the jet way and leave it in the part right before you enter the plane. When you land you pick it up right outside the plane door, at the plane end of the jet way. We usually wait til most of the plane has deplaned and then get out (just seems easier than joustling everyone else with a little one) We have never had to wait too long if the stroller is not already there.
