Hi there. I could use a little and prayers.

i had to go in for surgery last week and now I am not sure if I will make my Disney trip on April 20th. I am awaiting pathology reports (which I should have back in another 10 days or so). If reports are not good then he said I will have to go to larger center for further surgery/treatment.

I am recovering from surgery but am in great pain and only able to have fluids. I just want to be better.

Please pray for me that all is well. I can't imagine telling my kids that we can't go to WDW...and then telling them it is because I am very ill. I just can't do that.

I've walked down the path you're on... complete with postponing trips due to surgery and hospitalizations (or going on trips right after surgery). Talk to your doctors. They may well be able to put off the second surgery for a week or two so that you can go away. It's not a trivial thing to ask, considering that your children (and you!) have been looking forward to this trip. If you have another adult along to help you and you feel up to rolling around in an ECV, you may be able to pull off the trip.

Lynne, I am so sorry to hear what you are going through - I am sending as much and prayers your way as I can! Please keep us updated on how you are doing - I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that the news is good, and that you can go on your trip. And I think Elenita's advice is good, too, to see (if you'd need to) if you can postpone things for a week or two so you can go - a happy, rested and relaxed body responds so much better to anything, esp. medical treatments, etc. Good luck - you'll be in our thoughts!
