How far in advance can you generally book at WDW? Starting to think about our DD's sweet 16 (spring 2019) and wanting to jump on it as soon as we can. Will probably want to know when "go time" would...

Considering renting points from a DVC member--it's from a friend so we know they are legit! :) Had a few questions. I know we can't do DDP (not a problem for us) and we don't get maid service...

We were there this past Thanksgiving (came Weds left Sunday after T'giving). Crowds were there but not too bad. We did not make any ADRs and flew by the seat of our pants but did not have any trouble...

2 words: Magical Journeys! They are amazing and do all the work for you. We did not use them last time cause we went with friends and stayed at SOG but would not consider booking my self or using...

Any info about what the club level offered? We have been to WL before (years ago) but never club level. Thinking about going next Jan (2015) for my 50th. WL is hubby's favorite (and maybe the only...

THanks everybody. Probably won't have military discount options. Have considered renting DVC points but not sure if it's worth it (we will only be there 5 days). WIll keep exploring. Any more...

Lat Nov, we had about $500 on the rewards card. Staying at SOG so putting it down to room charge was not an option. I took it the 1st day and got gift cards for both my kids for when we were not...

I am hoping to convince DH to take me (and the kids) to WDW for my 50th (1/2015). He's not a big WDW fan and we just went this past Nov so I'm trying to explore options and info before I present it...

We just got back from the World and I made my ADRs over the phone. It was super easy--and I had heard the internet was much more difficult. (plus I like to talk to a human when possible to make sure...

I was told you could use them at any WDW location that takes credit cards.

When our DS was little (in 2001) he was not allowed to use the water wings on the slide at Wilderness Lodge--inthe pool was fine but slide had to be no wings

My kids also love pin trading. We get some pins off ebay before we go (and they even usually find a few to keep in the lot too) so they are ready to trade. We use lanyards they got from various...

They were semi thawed but still very cold. We did have ice packs in there too. And a towel wrapped around and in a zip loc (I really didn't want anything leaking out into our or anyone else's luggage)
-
What we have done when our flight was not too long (like a nonstop from DC to MCO) was freeze the squeeze yogurts and then pack them in a small insulated lunch box with an icepack in the suitcase (in...

If you don't really need the 2nd stroller except for at WDW I'd go with the rental. If you need it for the airport, at home or other vacations, I'd buy one. Regarding snacks, I'd also check the...

So does this mean we are "scr**ed" for getting onto the "good" rides? We are going Thanksgiving week and I'm afraid we won't be able to do any big rides w/o FP. Does Disney really expect everyone to...
-
What if you do not get your tickets til you are at WDW? Are you "locked out" of FP+ or can you book online w/o tickets? We are going in Nov with friends and staying at SOG. Planning on using Disney...

Airlines and cruise lines are privately owned and run so they will not be closed if the govt shuts down. As stated above, TSA and Air Traffic will still be working too--but whether they will be...
-
How do you do this? I have tried and have been told that you can only have one rewards card at a time.

Families and King beds do not match--says the woman who once had to get her and hubby and 10 yr old DS and 5 yr old DD in one at another hotel cause King was all they had. THere were way too many...

I too would say get the GAC to have just in case. I also assume that the band chaperones and her close friends are aware of her situation and know what to do to help mitigate the possibility of any...
-
This is what I would suggest. One of our neighbors does this all the time for us with Christmas/birthday presents
-
I believe you can also call them and apply over the phone. Getting the card before you get to WDW gives you the bonus of being able to accumulate points to use on your trip.
-
While this is definitely true, it would mean that you would have to personally monitor for the deals and then call right away to make sure it gets applied to your reservation. IMHO, Magical Journeys...

ANother "pull" would be for him to "help" his cousins (the younger ones ) on the rides-this way he goes on the kiddie rides not because he "wants" to but because he is being a good cousin and helping...
