Yes, Daisy was born deaf. A very high percentage of white dogs (dalmations, white boxers) are born deaf. As I understand it this is also true of cats.

Over the years we have used family, pet sitting services, and a Kennel for our dogs. I feel most comfortable putting them in a Kennel. This way I know they are not getting into any trouble at home...
