Italy and Med Cruise Day 9-At Sea

I tell ya after over a week of touring (and 129,000 steps so far) we were glad for a day of rest on the ship. We didn't actually do much, eating, reading, some hot tub time, of course casino time.

I did have an amazing lunch at one of the specialty venues called The Porch on the top of the ship. They had a very nice seafood menu for $30, it was really a steal I thought (I went alone as my dad doesnt care for seafood.). I had a very nice sizzling platter of garlic ship, some lobster bisque, some tuna tartare and a very delicious paella that had scallops, shrimp, mussels, sausage and chicken. I couldn't decide on a dessert so they brought me a sampler of four of them! Also with some sangria it was a great meal and I sort of felt like napping.

Dad and I did some walking around the ship, mom and I went up to the hot tub area in the Solarium and just generally we took it easy.
