Anyone Know?
Anyone know if Dragon Challenges red and blue cars (ahem, dragons) are synced up and running at the same time again?
I heard a report that they were only running one coaster at a time. Scarily enough, it seemed like it was because someone was throwing objects from one car to the other and hitting people. It was unclear if this is what was happening, or things were being thrown from spectators on the ground. It seemed to result in the coasters running individually at least for a week. I am told it had nothing to do with mechanical issues.
I love how these are synced up and the overall experience of sort of racing the other dragon. This has been my favorite set of coasters since 2002 and I'll be so sad not to ride it in its original form next week.
Has anyone been to WWoHP in the past week or two who can give the status of how the dragon trains are running?

This is interesting. A friend of a friend of a friend  was struck with something and lost his eye a couple of weeks ago while riding this They were unsure where the foreign object had come from, I guess this is the explanation. :(
Sad to hear that some people can be so evil.

This is interesting, I know the (at least) two incidents happened about a month ago. I haven't seen any report that they haven't kept it going, but at the same time I haven't seen anything about them switching it back either.
I know Universal said that they were gonna keep the two trains separate prior to them completing an investigation, I'll take a guess that they are still working on that.

Bummer. I love when they ride together - totally different experience.
However, I DO appreciate their attention to safety. It's more important that they get to the bottom of it.
Sadly, I heard of the poor guy who lost sight in one of his eyes.
Seriously, who would even think to throw something? What's the point? So sad.
