Velocicoaster to open 6/10/21

A new coaster will be opening at Islands if Adventure. The Jurassic Park Velocicoaster will open on June 10th, 2021. They have been doing Team Member previews and the AP previews will follow. They have been advertising it on tv already.

This coaster makes Hulk look tame. I’ve seen it, but won’t ride it. I don’t do coasters. My daughter can’t wait to ride it. Just going by what my coworkers have said it’s incredible. I think the top speed is around 70 mph. I’ll stick to the Hogswart Express.. lol.

The Hogwarts Express is more my speed, but Dean (DH) will LOVE this when we come down next time. Looks intense!

We watched them testing it when we went over Mardi Gras break. Looks awesome! Sad it wasn't open when we were there.

AP testing has been going on for a day or two I believe... I know a few passholders who got on, and many are posting to YouTube... Consensus is, coaster is great and more intense than Hulk... And Hulk is intense...
