If you could work at Walt Disney World for a single day, (and you were magically qualified to do anything) what would you do?
Jungle Cruise Skipper?
Monorail Driver?
Tumble Monkey?
Sorcerer Mickey in Fantasmic?

In honor of my Star Wars obsessed daughter, I think I'd be a jedi at the Jedi Training Academy. I'd love to be one of the VIP Tour guides...talk about a dream job!
DH says he would want to spend the day as :goofy:
I think I'd be Mickey Mouse suba diving and visiting those eating at Coral Reef :mickey:
Now, this wasn't an easy choice, there are so many things I'd love to do ... be the Railroad conductor, be a CM at Haunted Mansion, ...
Buzz Lightyear!!!
Id be an engineer on the steam train.
I'd be a judge on the American Idol Experience
I want to be Tinker Bell during Wishes flying down from the castle.
Very cool thread idea!!
I would be a Monorail or Train Driver (Conductor)
Can I work two days? Yes? O.K. then I would love to try being a Jungle Cruise Skipper.
"And here we see THE BACKSIDE OF WATER!!"
Oh gosh I LOVE that line! I never get tired of it!! :mickey: (I am guilty of snapping pics of the back of water)
I would love to drive the monorail.....my retirement job is going to be as a bus driver at WDW!!! Only 12 years to go! haha
I'd absolutely LOVE to play Marvin in Nemo, since I'm really into musical theater! :cloud9:
I’d love to be a concierge at a Deluxe Resort. If it has to be a job in the park, I'd love to be a Photopass Photographer.
You could find me at the Jungle Cruise. Was lucky enough to ride it near the end of the night, it was my wife and I and a foreign couple. The "skipper" and I were trading one liners back and forth feeding off of each other while the foreign couple did not get any of the humor. I dont know what was funnier the one liners between us or the look on their face. :D
I'd be the President of WDW so I can show high profile visitors the wonders of the place, share with them my love of WDW, and earn a nice wage for the day :D
I think I would like to work in one of the shops
along Main Street.
BEEN THERE, DONE THAT AND GOING BACK IN
37 DAYS!!!!!!! :D
I'd like to do maintainence on the Haunted Mansion.
Bean Counter, so I can see if everything that has been said is true :D
engineer on the morning train that brings in mickey and friends to open the magic kingdom
working as a CM for Space Mountain is always a first response for me.
Working inside Spaceship Earth is a close 2nd, and the Japan Pavillion is not too far behind.
So many great places, it's hard to nail down just one!
Always told my kids that my ultimate retirement job was to drive (actually you "pilot") the monorail because if you had an altzheimers moment, you couldn't get lost !
Ended up getting on working on MK Parade Audience Control and Park Greeter (turnstiles) and couldn't be happier. Much better overall than monorails or transportation.
I always tell my kids when I retire I want to be the Fairy Godmother. I'd like to give that a try.
I'd love to CM @ ToT! That would awesome!
Or Haunted Mansion :joy:
I've worked in reail for 20 years, early retirement is in 15 years, Second career running MouseGear, Emporium, or World of Disney
None of the jobs listed. Other than eating, my 2 fave things to do in the whole world is talk and drive. So, for me, when I retire and go the work for the mouse, my preference would have to be a bus driver. I could talk to EVERYONE from EVERYWHERE and hopefully share a little of my love for the "World" with all who embark on their magical journeys! And maybe learn a little from them as well.:mickey:
I would love to be a personal tour guide. You get to "see" the park through the family's eyes and ride the rides and have fun while working! :cloud9:
I'd like to be a CM at the Haunted Mansion. Especially during the MNSSHP :mickey:
Wow, what a tough choice! Great forum topic by the way!
I think a VIP guide would be the coolest, simply because you get to ride with all of the guests and you go to the front of the line!! :number1:
But I think I would be best for the Jungle Cruise or Haunted Mansion simply because of my personality.
Id like to be a chef for a day, and share some of my cooking with the world.
This one is pure fantasy (because we lack the talent) but DW and I dream of playing banjo and singing songs for Chip and Dale's campfire and movie at Ft W:cap:
I'd love to be the surrogate John Lennon in the British Invasion. It doesn't require any musical skills beyond what I already have, since John largely limits himself to rhythm guitar. And me liverpudlian accent is fab and gear.
I used to tell everyone that when I retired I was going to move to Disney and work there. My son would always laugh and say, mom, just don't be :goofy: Actually, I would love to work in the animation department.
I would be the chief imagineer on the grand opening day of Disney's latest gate-buster attraction.
No question: boat captain on the lakes by the WL, CR, GF and Poly shuttling guests to MK and back - 5 years to retirement!
p.s. don't tell my wife! % )
I'd want to be Prince Eric & hang out with Ariel all day !!! :D
I would love to be one of the cast members that greet you as you walk into the park...you would get to see so many smiling faces. Even to see the faces of people watching the opening shows. I know the show at MK and AK brings a tear of joy to my eye. Part of the highlihgt of my trip is to see my DH smiling all day and having so much fun and hi-fiveing the cast members as he walks by. It would be great to see so many smiling happy faces all day!:mickey:
You would find me loading guests at ToT.
I would love to work at AK with the animals. Any of the jobs that do not require cleaning stables ;)
2nd chioce is a VIP tour guide!
