I can't wait for my next trip and all the great dining. Tell me what is the best dessert you ever had anywhere in DW. Details, please!
I had to think about this for a bit. I was tempted to go for a fancier dessert with a view, or maybe a dessert drink on the monorail line... but... I think I have to say an evening colossal sundae at Beaches and Cream. ...that's my dessert memory, and the boat ride (and walk by the pool) are a nice reprieve from the park. Plus, it's kind of exciting seeing those Kitchen Sinks get delivered.
The best dessert I have had at DW was back in 2006,Pumpkin Cheese Cake at Garden Grill. It was to die for. The second runner up was the mini desserts at Grand Floridian Cafe.
For a snack, I love German Chocolate Cookie from the Confectionery (Main Street in Magic Kingdom)
For Counter Service, I love the Chocolate Mousse or Creme Brulee at the bakery in France (EPCOT).
For Table Service, I love the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at the Liberty Tree Inn (Magic Kingdom) tied with the Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce in 'Ohana (Polynesian Resort)
For Signature Dining, I love Valrhona Cake served with Cappuccino Caramel Crunch Ice Cream at the California Grill (The Contemporary Resort)
I'm normally a chocolate lover, so this is sort of out of character for me. I really enjoyed the Orange Sesame cake at Sanaa. I'm willing to go back just for that.
The sundae I had at Everything Pop was really good to, and a pretty good value on the meal plan as a snack credit.
The Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream!
Maple Creme Brulee-LeCellier
My favorite is the Almond-Crusted Cheesecake with Lambert Cherry Sauce at Narcoossee's. It's amazing. But Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding at Raglan Road is close, which is a fluffy bread pudding with delicious sauce and ice cream.
I love the bread pudding at 'Ohana. Love it!
But my most memorable dessert was at Yak & Yeti. Fried Wontons - Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle. No, I don't have it memorized but cut and pasted it from another site. It is so yummy, I did not want to leave anything out.
No contest.... It is the Almond Crusted Cheesecake at Narcoosee's.
We had a LOT of great desserts on all of our trips, especially our last trip, but strangely enough, the BEST dessert I've had at WDW was during our 1999 trip, at Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion. The dessert was a flakey pastry topped with vanilla creme and toasted almonds, and I believe it was called a Bastilla. Best dessert EVER! :mickey:
My number one favorite was from Yak & Yeti TS. It is the fried cream cheese wontons. The wontons are on skewers along with chunks of pineapple. It is topped with a vanilla sauce and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's like a party for the mouth.:cloud9:
I usually go for chocolate, so this is a welcome suprise. It is so light after a big meal. I would go to Yak & Yeti just for the dessert, but the food is good there also.
I love the dessert wontons at Yak and Yeti!!! I wish I could make them at home but Im sure I wouldnt make them as good as they can...
I also like the Ooie Gooey Carmel dessert at Liberty Tree and the S'mores dessert at HS in the 50's Cafe!
I like the fried wontons at Yak & Yeti, the bastilla at Marrakesh and the grapefruit cake at Brown Derby.
For the Fiance hands down Ohana's bread pudding.. I make it occasionally at home but its never the same.
For me, it use to be a chocolate moose from France but alas it hasn't been on the menu the past few years..
Strawberry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavillion of Epcot. I have dreams about the stuff.:cloud9:
The Creme Brulee at Chefs de France
Chocolate Moose at Le Cellier
Dole Pineapple Whip in the MK

I guess I'm going to HAVE TO TRY THIS!:eat:
Mine was also Yak & Yeti, but the MANGO PIE! Yum Yum Yum.
I also LOVED, really LOVED our late night Sundae with TWO spoons at our Allstar Music Food Court before turning in for the night!
Guess I'll need THREE spoons in September! :eat:
Can't beat the desserts at Biergarten! Best part of the meal..
I love the desserts at Kona and the Smores at Prime Time. My favorite is the dole whip float as a snack in the MK or one of the big chocolate chip cookies from the food courts. I also really like the school bread and the rice cream with strawberries at Norway's CS. Yummy!
I was looking through old posts and found this...how did no one mention the chocolate wave at Coral Reef?? My meal there was just ok, but the dessert was fantastic! probably my favorite.
closely followed by bread pudding at 'Ohana (i don't even like bread pudding usually) and the dole Whip.
I cannot wait to try the wontons at Yak & Yetti this trip sounds like heaven
I love getting the desserts from the outside kiosk in Italy at EPCOT. The tiramisu and the cannolis are amazing!! :eat:
For me it is the bread pudding at O'Hana.:thumbsup:
Chocolate Wave @ Coral Reef
Bread Pudding @ O'hana
Chocolate cake with Hershey kisses @ Cape May cafe
Everything at beaches and cream:mickey:
...great idea for a topic, I'm going to go raid my freezer now for ice cream @ 8 am lol
Love the grapefruit cake @ Brown Derby :number1:
Another vote for the Pineapple Bread Pudding @ O'hana's. The World is loaded with great sweet treats, but this is hands down the best we've had yet...and we get it EVERY TRIP, LOL!!
:eat:
My favorites are pretty simple.
1. S'mores @ LeCellier
2. Dole Pineapple Whip @ MK
3. Chocolate Peanut Butter cake at Sci Fi
I have to say that I also really like the beignets at POFQ. Something we don't get at home!
You've all convinced me to try the fried won tons! I'm not normally a dessert eater, but I do enjoy the bread pudding at Ohana. It's the only bread pudding I like.
Also, everything at the little pastry shop in the France pavilion is heaven!!
Milk chocolate creme brulee at Fultons in Downtown Disney!
Not sure it is the best, but I love the experience and setting. We always get a giant sundae on Main Street for the fireworks.
I would love to try the maple creme brulee. Anyone know if you can just have dessert there?
This thread is just mouth watering!! :mickey:
I have a few fave desserts..
- Strawberry & Sugar Crepes and chocolate Crepes at the kiosk in France.. my must do every trip!!! yumm!!
-Cannolis from Italy in Epcot
-Smores dessert at 50's Prime Time

I def will have to try the yak & yeti wontons!! Of all the times I've been to the Poly to eat, I have never had the bread pudding so that is a must in the future! :mickey:
My wife's absolute favorite is the green tea flan that she had at Tokyo Dining.
Mine is definitely the rice cream that they serve Aukershus. It is unbelievable.
