Disney Studio Store & Soda Fountain?
Nope. :)
Ghirardelli at Downtown Disney?
Well, Haunted Mansion has their "13-hour clock", that sort of looks like it's melting, but, remember, I said "Not in a theme park".
Walt Disney's private home in Los Felize, LA?
Is it the casting centre over the road from downtown disney?
Nope :)
You were "closer" with your Louisiana answer, though! :mickey:
Smoke Tree Ranch, perhaps?
Ohhhh... uh, well, this makes me think it is The Tam O'Shanter.
Well, it's been a while since we've gotten a correct answer, and, y'all've been tryin' *so hard* to get this one :)
I'll give it to ya:
The answer is Walt's Carolwood Drive property in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The home had a soda and ice cream fountain for the girls, and Lillian had her rose garden. In fact, she didn't want Walt's trains running through her bushes, so, Walt had a legal right-of-way drawn up and witnessed by Sharon and Diane. The tunnel for Walt's Carolwood Pacific Railroad ran underneath the rose garden.
There is a fairly-famous photo of Salvador Dali riding the CPRR with Walt at the controls of the Lilly Belle.
Walt, Roger Broggie, Ward Kimball, Frank Thomas, and Ollie Johnston would come over and "play trains" in the barn that Walt had constructed.
Some good guesses, though!
PS: The property - which no longer contains Walt's original home (it was torn down in 2001 to make way for the current home) - listed for $90 *MILLION*, but "only" sold for $74 million. The CPRR tunnel still exists behind the current mansion.
