Wow! We loved seeing the blue-with-white-snowflakes castle last December, but this looks absolutely amazing! :magic:
Sure wish we had another trip planned. Maybe this would be a good excuse.........

That's amazing... wish I could be there to see it, but New Zealand is too far away to fly to Florida tonight!

Carol, thanks so much for sharing those pics with those of us who won't get to see it in person. It looks absolutely fantastic and I'm so upset that I'll miss it. To all of you who do get to see it, I hope it's even more spectacular in person than those pictures appear to be - and they're pretty spectacular!
For those wondering how long the decorations are going to stay up, I contacted Disney and they informed me that they plan to "stay up until the first week in January."
They don't have an exact date picked out for removal, but for those that are going a day or two after New Years might be lucky enough.
As for me, Jan 5th looks like a no for us seeing the decorations :(
Awwww... :( I wish they would keep the castle decorated until the end of January. It's all twinkle lights so it's not necessarily just for Christmas. To me, it looks more like a winter season thing - winter lasts until at least March up here in NY!
Coming to WDW for Marathon Weekend. I really hope it's still up!!
:jaw: The castle looks beautiful. Christmas is my thing I love to decorate for it I love to be out and about looking at lights and that has just made my day . I am however jealous of those of you who get to see it this year. I have never in my 33 almost 34 years ever been to disney for christmas. That is my goal when i move to florida next year to go on my birthday weekend and i so hope and pray they have the castle lit like that again. We are planning on being there in June and I can't wait. How soon is too soon to post about trip planning? :thumbsup:Great job on the castle Disney
WOW, that looks so cool, but it's not as nice of the birthday cake look from several years ago:laughing: kidding of course!
Wow Disney, you've certainly hit it out of the park with this one! I can't wait to see it in 5 days :cloud9: I'll take pics for all of you that can't make it down!
all I have to say is OMG it is gorgeous... my little DD couldn't believe how pretty it was... she didn't want to leave. unfortunately I left my camera at home (I didn't know this was going on until we saw it...), but we go about once a week so I will take tons of pics next time (and each time thereafter!) and share them with all my intercot friends!
we went yesterday (got home around 8:30) and they had the lights going before we left... we didn't see the show that goes with it (we had no idea they were going to do it--we thought it was just for MVMCP) but I bet it is awesome... we are going to go back tonight maybe--have to get pics donefor Christmas so if we get done early we are going to head that way--I will take pictures this time!!!
I am thrilled!!! So glad to hear they decided to do this on other nights besides MVMCP nights.
Three more days and we'll be there to see it in person!!!
:cloud9:
wow, a lot of us will be there in January. I will be arriving sat 1/5. Hopefully it will still be up.
Man I can't wait to go...DEC 6-11th here I come!!!!
wow. the casltle looks great!
The photos of the castle are breath taking. I wish I was going but sadly, there are no Disney plans in the future at this time. :(
I noticed these at the AKL in Oct. Very strange indeed. Kinda tastes like you are drinking from a cardboard box of sorts. Don't try to chew it, if you are like me. Very weird. We figured they were animal friendly. We're used to no straws at places like Sea World and such.
Thanks for the updates!
