thanks
arriving Monday 24th so been watching your forecasts
Blyth, since that is the first day of both our trips maby we can both keep our fingers crossed for that rain Chris forecast for the 28th
to stay away or comes in during the night.
Yay! Our arrival day is in Chris' weather report! That means we're getting close!!! :mickey: Will be watching daily to see what kind of weather November brings.
Ive been also checking the usual weather sites & they show Nov 1st to be approx 60% rain. How true could this be as this is the day were attending MNSSHP. Will be in town from Oct 29th to Nov 3rd.
I think rain for WDW is fairly unlikely right now. Nov 1 is the boarder of voodooland, so things could change, but right now I don't see any reason to expect rain. There is a weak disturbance that should bring rain to south Florida early next week, but I think it all stays south of Orlando. The problem with the "usual" sites is that they are completely computer generated and rely only on one model. No human interaction. So, if that one model happens to show rain potential that's what you see. There are a couple of models that bring the rain farther north, but I think that looks fairly unlikely right now. Feel free to ask again in a couple of days when the forecast becomes more firm as we get closer.
Going to MNSSHP on Friday. How do you think the rain chances look? The only other time I have been I didn't get to see the headless horseman because of rain. Fingers crossed.
Rina!!! Oh this can't be good...we were heading to AK park that day...Keep us posted!
I'll give a full update around noon CDT when the afternoon model runs are in, but the morning models are continuing to confirm what I thought yesterday, which is that the storm will be more of a threat to south Florida, the Keys, and Cuba with minimal impact on Orlando. Hopefully that trend will continue.
Thanks Chris. I hope it holds.
Mitzie--it always rains on my AKP day!
I am sorry your AKP day always rains. In the past our AKP days have been beautiful.
Chris...as an Indiana girl this hurrican thing is a little nerve racking. We once had to evacute Daytona Beach due to Hurricane Bertha..was hoping that was my last run in with such storms. Praying that this storm stays far way from Disney World. :scared:
Thanks Chris! Will check back in tomorrow for your latest word.
Me too!!
Ditto!! :)
Thanks Chris, after just having spent 3 days without power/heat I am soooo looking forward to some nice warm weather on Sunday :mickey:
