Sorry... he's over at my house, helping me mow the backyard. DH did the front, but the back is getting desperate for some attention. When would you like him back?? :D

If you don't need the goat any longer Blythe, and Jenn doesn't want him back, may I borrow him? My 'neighbor' appears to have abandoned his house and so the grass in the back is now taller than my waist. Hmmmm... maybe that is where the rum has been hidden?
DW has called me an old goat for so long I thought you were talking about me. I was going to say "Here I am".
Is everybody's slide into Friday going well? DW's up with the grandbabies (I'll join her on Saturday) so DD1 called me to have lunch. Guess who picked up the tab? We talked about rehearsals and such, of course.
I'll send him your way tomorrow - I think DH is getting the mower out again tonite. And if you find the rum, send some on over!! :D
:funny:
I keep asking my DH the same thing... the girls and I want to get a kitten, as it's the season for the little furballs to be born... but as long as there are more boxes than spaces to put things, I think we're not going to win the arguement. (We put our other cat down last October, and he was "my" cat... I miss him terribly, esp. since this is the first move I've made w/o him, ever. :( )
So - once we win my DH over (or I just show up with one :D ) I'll have him join the ranks of the other animals onboard! (He can catch the mice - the monkey doesn't seem to keen on that job... )
It's a really beautiful day here.... so my slide is a good one! At least your daughter wants to have lunch with you Ken -- so it's all good, right? :D
Have you ever looked into a goat's eyes ?(No, not Ken!) They are pretty darned cute, and hence are on my "Will not eat" list. Monkeys, not so much, but I will not eat them either. ;)
Ah Jenn...can't really say as I have. Petting zoo's and other similiar type events are not my cuppa tea. Must be the hazzards to the shoes. But the odds of eating goat aren't too high out here so I won't much worry about it.
Now what on earth has happened to Ellen was she kidnapped by the Pirates?
Olivia is a great name--Very lyrical.
My life has been so crazy these past months, I am definitely ready for a bit of "normal"--whatever that is. BTW Julia was also in the running (clearly I like multisyllabic names ending in a --DD is Laura). But alas I only had one more baby and it was a boy! Do you think he would've been teased if I'd named him Olivia or Julia?
I would bet dollars to donuts that they were first in line!!
Natalie do you have something against goats? Perhaps a petting zoo mishap from your childhood.....
Enjoy this absolutely beautiful day everybody!!
Ya know I can't remember what the Girl name was now? I know the middle name was Mckell but I'm blanking on the first alltogether. How odd.
I'm not a big fan of the petting zoo concept due to the lack of plumbing for the residents. It just skeeves me out somehow. Plus as my co-workers (who handle ag) remind me darn near daily. My shoes are so not for farms.
Mine's not going well at all.. our customer side of the computer network is not functioning so it's been non stop customer calls/orders today... not fun at all!
Not sure why the house was abandoned. THey just moved in a few months ago. But they are not the best of neighbors.. partiers... they vanished shortly after an incident involving the man's current girlfriend hitting his ex-girlfriend with his truck as she was trying to get out of the driveway (all drunk at the time). My understanding is she's not in very good condition.
They might be empty bottles, but I'll send them your way! :D
All animals are cute in one way or another! I love monkeys! They are so fun to watch! And how about penguins? I would love to have a penguin as a pet! :penguin:
Knowing Ellen she has probably kidnapped a certain Pirate! :D
Welp... back off to key in more orders! My fingers are so tired... can anyone see the smoke that's coming from my keyboard from over use?
My DD rode horses for a while, and I took a few lessons myself. You can imagine that the barn was no place for wedges with peek-a-boo toes! I did, however, find a decent pair of cowboy boots--fairly stylish. Don't you own a pair? I bet YOU can even find them with a pretty high heel if you try.Quote:

Or perhaps you pirate wenches prefer a pair of thigh high leather pirate boots. You know the ship may also prove to be a challenge to your shoes Natalie with all that monkey poo covering the deck!
Horses are all together differnet..that's not a farm it's a stable. I used to do english show jumping (cool knee high boats and of course the blazer thing going on didn't hurt).
Haven't looked for cowboy boots in a while..DH would kill himself laughing could be worth it just for that.
Vertical pupils? What on earth did you have with lunch? Is there that much rum?
I had written a nice long post and then ... Intercot ate it!
I actually bought our tickets last Saturday when we went to see the (oh so ho hum) Shrek the Third. (Can you tell I wasn't impressed?)
If Ben had turned out to be a girl, the name was going to be Sofia Francesca. (After my two grandmothers and a dear friend of my DH's who was also a Sofia.)
They're not yellow pupils, right? (You are a lawyer after all... I'm sorry... I couldn't resist. I'm putting myself in the corner right now.)
Well, I'm going to change into my pirates t-shirt and off we go to Wendy's and then to the movies! :D
