Yes. Very much so. I took my babies on that one.
Very mild ride, but the line can be very scary! Lol!
Have you done any of the other indoor rides in Fantasyland?
Pete Pan's Flight is very much the same, it is not rollercoaster.
Not a crazy question at all! I was TERRIFIED of Peter Pan, since I couldn't imagine how it would work ... since the track is "on top". We actually didn't go on it during our first trip.
But, as others have said, it is a beautiful ride, not freaky at all, and I'm sure you'll LOVE it. It is worth riding, especially if you can nab a FP+, or go early before the line gets crazy.
Thanks all!
Thanks for all of the responses! What about Soaring?
Soarin is a little more thrilling. It has a height requirement (40"). The movement is very mild, but you do go pretty high off the ground and the movie adds to the effect of being up very high. My younger son actually doesn't like Soarin because "it's too high" according to him. He is 9. So, it's not a thrilling ride like a coaster, but if you are afraid of heights or tend towards motion sickness, you might want to steer clear of it.
My mother refuses to ride it. It is the combination of the height and the fact that her feet dangle. She just can't handle it.
If the height of Soarin is a concern, ask the attendant to seat you in the last row--the three rows stack on top of each other with the last row being the least high up (though your feet still hang free--which always bothers me on chair lift-style shy rides)
I am not a coaster gal at all but LOVE Peter Pan. I also love Soarin - I don't mind my feet hanging because I know that once I'm up in the air, that's it...that's as high as it is going and we are not going anywhere, it is all illusion.
