I just ran across some articles saying Disney will be selling Disney-branded Android phones in Japan. Since Disney doesn't seem to show any love for Android when it comes to apps, I thought this was sort of strange. Other than the Mobile Magic app which is only available to Verizon customers and a couple other Android apps, all the Disney apps seems to end up on the iPhone. Maybe will be seeing more Disney apps on Android now, although I can see them only making those apps available in Japan.
The problem is with how fragmented the Android market is. An iPhone is an iPhone is an iPhone, there's a good chance the app will work. With Android, not so much.
I've got a few android apps that won't work on my tablet, and reading the reveiws, it seems common that people post their phone and yes or no on it working.
Once Google can solve this, then maybe Android will "catch on". And, yes, I realize that it's the largest OS out there on phones. But that's not helping things in reality.
