looking at some trips possible...2-8th of March and mayb mid may. whats the thoughts on attendance
Mid May is probably the better choice as far as crowds, but not much difference.
May.
I was there the 1st week of March last year and the crowds were easily tolerable. The weather however was a bit cooler than I anticipated.
March is probably the only month of the year I have not visited - primarily because it is often too near to Easter and is in the midst of the spring break season. I have enjoyed a number of trips in May. Keep in mind that May can already be quite hot and humid. Lately, it's been hard to predict crowds - even times that used to be slow have not been lately.
We like going in late May before all the schools let out, so crowds with the exception of Memorial Day & Star Wars Weekends at HS are 6 & 7's out of 10, but make sure you have your ponchos as it will rain much more often than in March.
We love May - anytime. It's our favorite month at WDW.
ill be there the first wk of March w my nephew...midmay is a possibility w my gf, unless we go elsewhere.
I see that the Flower and Garden fest begins the wkend in march that I will b there...
I have been down both times you are inquiring about and the only difference was the weather. In March the mornings and evenings cooled off. In May it was a bit warmer and the humidity was there. Also the the "love bugs" were out in May. Because of them, I vowed not to go back in May. They were everywhere. Also, I believe the parks are open a bit later in May.
Mardi Gras is the first week of March this year, so there will be a lot of people from Louisiana visiting because school is out. We've gone in May a few times, and it has been hot. Granted, it isn't as hot as July and August, but it was warmer than I'd anticipated.
ive experienced the love bugs.
Ive been there almost every time of year. avoid the summertime anymore
