We are considering driving to Port and are wondering about parking. Where to park, is it secure, and is there a charge?
Thanks for any info.

Cruise Terminal Parking
Parking at Port Canaveral's Cruise Terminals is paved, gated, and under 24-hour surveillance. Parking is located at each terminal and is well sign-posted. Passengers at Cruise Terminal 9/10 have a choice of outdoor parking or the new six-level parking garage.
There are special areas designed for parking for the disabled, however we do not provide free parking unless it is (1) a vehicle with specialized equipment, such as ramps, lifts, or foot or hand controls, for use by a person who has a disability, or (2) a vehicle that is displaying the Florida Toll Exemption permit (call 1-800-983-2435 #2 for an exemption form).
Otherwise, parking fee is $12.00 per day for vehicles up to 20 feet in length and $24.00 per day for vehicles over 20 feet. The total amount for the time the vehicle is to be parked must be paid in full upon entering the parking area. Visa, MasterCard, Traveler's Checks issued in U.S. dollars and Cash are accepted in payment of fees. All fees stated above are subject to change without notice by Canaveral Port Authority.
Limited free parking is available in "Daytime Only" parking lots at each Cruise Terminal for persons having business at the Terminal or aboard the Cruise Ship only during the hours the ship is docked at the Terminal. No overnight parking is permitted in "Daytime Only" parking lots without the express permission of Canaveral Port Authority.
Parking for SunCruz Casino is free and located in The Cove near the bulkhead between Rusty's and Morgan's Seafood Restaurants.

We parked there last December, It was 10.00 per day then. the out door lots were lighted and guarded. We felt very secure leaving our vehicles there. Have a fun cruise.

We found the process very good.
You can drop your luggage and party off at the terminal.

Then one person go and park. Just make sure you have an id to get back into the terminal area.

It was nice to go straight from boat to car and not wait in any lines for buses.

They have porters that will bring all your luggage right to your car for a gratuity.

I'd definitely suggest writing down your cars exact location though. Even after a 3 night cruise, it's easy to forget where you parked and for that matter, what type of rental car you got. Nothing worse than searching for a car that you don't even remember what it looks like  .
