Musical Talent from 3 Continents Takes Epcot Stage in August
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- The Epcot World Music Concert Series continues in August by featuring popular international touring groups with roots in Africa, Europe and South America. They will perform each Tuesday-Sunday, with a resident Epcot World Showcase performing group taking the stage each Monday.

Performances are at 5:45, 7 and 8:15 p.m. on the America Gardens Theatre stage in Epcot World Showcase.

The August lineup includes:

Baka Beyond (July 29-Aug. 3, Aug. 5-10) -- Top musicians from six countries in West and Central Africa and the Celtic fringes of Europe mix harmony and rhythm in songs imported from the African rainforest via Brittany, Cornwall and the Outer Hebrides.

Mestre Ambrosio (Aug. 12-17, 19-24) -- Brazilian musicians mix Latin rhythms and dance steps while performing music with influences from rock to Oriental -- a mix resulting in urban music with a rural feeling.

Vieux Diop with Wassalou (Aug. 26-Sept. 1) -- Senegalese musician Vieux Diop and West African pop group Wassalou combine ancient and modern into a cultural celebration.
"Resident" Epcot performers Mo'Rockin and Off Kilter will perform on the America Gardens stage each Monday during the event.
