Now that I learned Garden Grill does not do the wedding vow renewal, does anyone know of anything else I can do at WDW for renewal of our vows???....We are going during Valentines Day, and I thought this would be a nice surprise.

I called for Disney's 'formal' wedding vow ceremony, and let's just say our first wedding was cheaper than that LOL.

I'm not aware of anything that Disney does specifically but here are some general ideas for romantic times together.
Romance in the Parks (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/adults/romance.asp)

My husband and I were there for Valentine's Day last year. We had a lovely dinner at Citrico's. I was presented with a rose in honor of Valentine's Day.

My husband and I will be married 15 years this year, I would love to renew our vows at the poly. We saw a lot of weddings there last year. They performed the ceremonies up on the hill, it was great. I'm not sure I could pull it off my May though. But it sure would be great.

I checked on this, and the only thing that is available are the weddings performed by Disney. Checkout www.disneyweddings.com. (http://www.disneyweddings.com.) It explains about the vow renewal. It is expensive, and must be handled by Disney's wedding department. It could be as small and intimate as you want it to be, but still costs quite a bit on top of your vacation.

The Wedding Coordinators can answer your questions further.

Thanks for all the help....I actually already called the wedding division of Disney, and I cannot see spending an additional $2200 just to renew my vows in front of our children (4 and 9).

That Garden Grill renewal seemed like an excellent idea....its a shame they cancelled it.

I think the Dolphin/Swan offer some type of vow renewal. You might look into that as an alternative.

The Swan and Dolphin do offer intimate vow renewal ceremonies at a much more afforable price. I imagine that around Valentines Day, is a very popular time of year for this though. You might want to call them asap.

I know that Living with the Land is under rehab until April. Is this why the Garden Grill isn't available?

It's not that Garden Grill isn't available, it's that they discontinued the rehitching ceremony entirely. I have heard they may be offering a revised version, but I haven't heard of anyone taking part in it. I don't think it would be nearly so much fun as the old one.
