Hello there again,

I got on line to purchase the tickets in advance. When I was getting through the process I had to made a choice of delivery (Standard, Priority or Will Call). For the two first options there is a charge of $3,00. For the third its free and the tickets will be waiting for you at the tickets office at the parks the day after you make a purchase.
My big question ( not so big!!! :D ) is that:

Have you ever used the "Will Call" option?

Seems to me its the best option, but I might be missing the point here. So Iwould you help me out one more time, please? graemlins/notworthy.gif

Thanks a lot again,

1) We used "will call" ONCE.
2) We waited an etermity in line to pick them up.
3) Fromm then on, we have tickets mailed or delivered.

I used Will Call on my trip just a few weeks ago. There was no one in line ahead of me so it took roughly 3 minutes for the CM to look us up, take our IDs, and give us our passes.

This was at 4pm at MK, but in the past I've found that Guest Services at MGM and AK are empty pretty much all day. If you don't want to go over there, pick Epcot in the morning for a short line. Only go to MK for Guest Services after 1pm but before 5pm. At other times they're busy with the morning crowd and then the Lost and Found crowd.

I had to pick up my tickets in "will call" because I ordered them so late! We did have a bit of a delay, even though I had all of my confirmation numbers with me, because the CM couldn't seem to find me in their computer. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it's much easier to just have them in hand BEFORE you get to the parks.

Hey, Thanks for the inputs so far...

But I still would like to hear more. I heard that "will Call" is a fairly new thing, so if you have used it or know somebody who used it please tell me. My trip will be Jan25/03 and if I decide to order the tickets it will take me 7 to 14 business days (to an US address) or 14 to 21 Business days (for a foreign address). Thats why I am in such stress...

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Hey Dani, I just bought tickets (2 AP's and 2 7day park hoppers) and the $3 fee was for all of the tickets. Not $3 each. I got them exactly one week after I ordered them and I was told it would be 2 weeks. I know I feel better having them in my hand than having to go and get them at the park. To me it is just one more thing to worry about. Good luck with your choice graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks Thinkerbella!

I just made up my decision. I will order the tickets instead of the "will call" option. You were right, its just one less thing to worry about.

Thanks to all of you who have answered my question!

Actually, ordering them through the mail doesn't always give peace of mind.

The only reason I ended up using will call was because I ordered my tickets around 8 weeks before I was going to Disney. I paid for them, and was given a Disney confirmation number. 3 weeks later, I had no tickets, so I called up Disney Tickets and asked what happened: they said it can take up to 21 days after they start PROCESSING the order, and they didn't process it until the week before.

So after 5 weeks, I still had no tickets. I called back understandably upset, as there was no time for them to send me new ones. Turns out, they mailed them to someone else's address that had no relation to mine in any way!

So they cancelled those pass numbers in their computer and issued me a will call reservation number. Thankfully, I had no problem at all with the Will Call experience, and I will NEVER again order my tickets through the mail. The stress that I went through of not having my passes and debating cancelling my credit card and charging back the pass order and how that would ruin my vacation was way too much to deal with.

I just ordered tickets for my trip next week, since I have spent to much time reading messages and dreaming of Disney that I waited to late to have them mailed. I will be picking them up at a will call window.

Can anyone tell me where that is located at each park? I haven't been to Disney in about 15 years and will be going straight to a park when we drive in, so I don't want to spend forever looking for will call for my tickets.

Thanks

I think they meant "Where is Guest Services" at each park.

I'm positive Guest Services for M.K. is at the Ticket and Transportation Centre... it will be a booth over to the right hand side of all the ticket windows.

I believe there is the same kind of booth at MGM, AK, and Epcot as well, over to the right side of all the ticket windows.

You should be able to pick up your tickets at any of the parks' Guest Services booths.

Just look for the Guest Services sign when you arrive at the gate, or ask any cast member. That's what I'm doing... I didn't want to pay the enormous shipping charge (because I don't live in the States) so will-call seemed like the best idea for us.

Hmmm... I just thought of something else. graemlins/idea.gif

I will be staying at Fort Wilderness... if memory serves me correct, can't I pick up my Will Call tickets right in the resort?

I could be dreaming - it's been a while since I've stayed at F.W. but I seem to remember ticket windows down near Pioneer Hall... is it possible to pick up my passes there?

Oh that would be so gosh darn convenient if I could!!! graemlins/crazy.gif

Unfortunately, you can't pick that up at your resort.

Just wanted to add that I bought my tickets online in Dec '02 and picked them up at the AK ticket booth area. It was super fast and convenient. There was no wait and the CM just needed to see my driver' liscense. I was a little leary of waiting to pick them up, but it was worth the discount and really no trouble at all.

Thanks for the help and for clarifying my need to know where guest services was at each park for the will call tickets.

I will be picking up my tickets Saturday (YEAH) and will post how it went.

Thanks again
