Disney's HHI resort

After our few days in Disney next month, we are going to head up to Hilton Head to visit a relative. I'd like to book a stay at Disney's resort there, but it's showing sold out no matter what dates I put in for August. Is it likely to be completely sold out for the whole month? Should I call the number for the front desk there?

There seems to be very little availability in any of the vacation club resorts over the next several months. You can try calling but will likely be told they are full. Will you be staying as a Disney Vacation Club member? If so, you can try waitlisting.

No, we aren't DVC. We stayed there once years ago on a special offer, and thought it would be fun to stay there again. I'll try calling, thanks!

The HHI DVC is usually sold out in the summertime-hard to get unless you own there. Off season is an entirely different story. I've known people who get reservations there for February by booking a few weeks in advance.
IMO, well worth the trip if you can get in, though.
