Hey! I constantly come across articles about projectors, but I can't decide if I need a movie projector or how useful it is at home. Here https://homemakerguide.com/best-short-throw-projector/ I found several projectors, but I don’t know which one to choose from, or maybe it’s worth looking at other options? I think watching old cartoons through a projector would be great and atmospheric, the children should like it.

Depends what you want to do with it. For most, a big TV would suffice but I can understand the thrill of a super big screen (like 100") or being able to have movie night outside.

Maybe experiment with something like this https://amzn.to/3uaJ4cN at a lower price point - you can always upgrade later...

I bought my university aged daughter one for Christmas and she LOVES it. When I go an visit, we watch movies on it and she loves just being able to hook up her phone and stream whatever she wants BIG. So, do you *need* it, no, but if you have the extra cash it is fun.

I really like the idea of an open-air cinema. I was in such a cinema a couple of times as a child and it was cool. I have an idea in the summer in the evenings to arrange watching cartoons, maybe the neighbour's children will come. This is a good thing, isn't it?
