Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Thoughts? Pros/Cons?

Its been a long time but what I can tell you is they have some of the largest standard rooms on property. Used to be a not so terrible walk from the Poly monorail station but right now it's closed.

Of course you have to be part of the Military to stay there.

Shades of Green is my go to resort of choice.

Pros:
Very large room and a very very comfortable flip over couch (twin) bed.
Walk to the Poly and walk through Poly to Monorail or to TTC (my favorite thing to do)
Best restaurants and very reasonably priced.
Transportation is very good.
Cost is based on your rank. I pay the highest amount and that is $190 a night.
Small Aafes store right on site. Military ticket office right on site.
If you need to rent a scooter - they have one on site also to rent from.

Cons:
Transportation to MK is only to TTC
You can only sponsor up to two more rooms so if you have a large group going and you are the only military person, this might not work for you.

If you have have any more questions - please ask away....

Hi! :mickey: Have you been to SOG recently? We booked a trip for Late Jan/Early Feb 2022. It will be myself, husband, 2 daughters (4yo & almost 2yo) as well as my father-in-law, sis-in-law & her husband. The main focus is going to be on my daughters. It will be my 2yo daughters first trip and my 4yo hasn't been there since 18 mos old.

What would you recommend as far as buildings/rooms. We would want a quieter room for the girls but would want it close to the main lobby, etc.

Also, any other recommendations for their ages would be great! TIA!!!!!
