Anyone hear if fast pass is returning this year?

Crickets! Based on yesterday's Intercot Instagram post from MK, it looks like there is no need or no rush to restore. However, you'd have to assume that at some point this year the tides will turn and people will resume vacations. You might think that the unofficial summer start at Memorial Day would bring more traffic, but I guess only time will tell as vaccine distribution ramps up through the spring. Let's hope so! We are scheduled to go in June and my only wish is to not wear a mask (at least not outdoors).

Honestly no - haven't heard a thing. Until parks get back to capacity and things return to normal, I don't see it happening.

Once we have crowds again - likely it will return.

Don't hold your breath on the mask thing....Until 75% or more of the country has gotten their vaccinations, I don't think Disney, or any other park, will drop their mask requirements. But, I may be wrong.

As far as the OP is concerned...I think this is just what Disney wanted to have an excuse o get rid of FastPass as we know it. They may go to something like the DisneyLand MagicPass or some 'paid' attraction pass system.

I highly doubt fastpass as we knew it will return to DW. I think we are more likely to see a version of what that have at DL. They need to recoup all the money they have lost somehow

I'll be honest, having tried both FP+ at Walt Disney World and the MaxPass system at DL (which costs $100), I'd gladly plop down the cash to use the MaxPass system. Yes, I wish it were free instead, but it's just implemented so much better than the stupid FP+ system. Booking a ride slot 60 days out? INSANE.

I'm probably with you on this as more news rolls out. York isn't too far from DE and our vaccine rollout (as well as that of the Philly metro area) has been less than ideal. Well see! But man, I don't know about being out in that June FL sun with a mask on.

Yeah, south cental PA hasn't been too sharp on getting the vaccines out either. I am 59, obese, high-cholesterol, and borderline Type-2 diabetic and I can't even get on a waiting list right now.

Florida in June? OUCH! I wouldn't even think about it, but I don't have time/family (school/work/etc.) constraints to put me in that position. I sweat like a pig in the Oct - April temps in FL, my normal times for visiting.

In any event, enjoy your summer trip and stay safe!!!

I've already had my first dose get my second in two weeks, my son who is a paramedic gets his second this week and my daughter in law gets her first Thursday, so we will all have the vaccine before our trip

That's great!! Unfortunately, you will STILL need to mask up in the parks. Just remember, even WITH the vaccine you can still get the virus. The symptoms would be greatly lessened, but could still occur.

That's awesome. We're going in May, and we hope to all be vaccinated (except our 16 year old daughter, which just won't happen until the summer). My wife got her 2nd shot a month ago (she's a physician that is in the ER and ICU a fair bit), and so she's fully vaccinated. Our 24 year old son (who is attending college online and working at a grocery store) is considered an essential worker, and hopefully will get his first shot in the next few weeks. Here in Virginia, he's eligible in the current vaccination group. My 21 year old daughter (food worker) and myself (higher-ed faculty) are in the next eligibility group. Once the current group is done, then we're up. However, at this rate, I think it will be well into March before our group comes up. As long as I get my first shot by mid-April, we should be good.

I agree; stop the 60 day time. Just make it where you can get a FP when you enter the gate.
